Fishing
​The Talybont fishing lakes are near by for trout fishing (permit needed). Available in the local pub, The White Lion in Talybont. River Leri also runs through Talybont, a good place for trout and sewin (sea trout).

Off Roading
​The area offers green lanes in the hills above Talybont. A popular route is a moderate trail, spanning from Talybont to Dyffryn-Castell - a very enjoyable track with amazing views.
