Dog Friendly cosy rustic retreat ideal for relaxation and outdoor activities.

Twlc Trefor offers a private and peaceful experience, situated behind the courtyard of our retired farm. The unique accommodation is breathtaking, having been upcycled from corrugated sheets once used around the old family farm, replicating the traditional pig ark. Twlc Trefor includes a TV and smart stick to relax with your favourite programmes, a double bed dressed with Baavet bedding, an en-suite toilet and hand basin, kitchenette with kettle, mini-fridge and microwave. There is also a Chilli Penguin Wood-burner stove to keep you warm on cooler nights, a full bucket of briquettes supplied. Multiple plug sockets and a 2x USB charging points can be found inside.

Outside, you'll find a private decking with steps leading to a pebbled seating area, which includes a chiminea and a designated smoking area. There’s a small outdoor shed to keep your dirty walking boots or outdoor clothing, whatever suits your needs. Outdoor sockets are also available. There is also a bbq with utensils & 2 sun loungers. This whole outside area looks over the neighbouring farmland and a picturesque valley.

Local History

The land was once home to the Women’s Timber Corps, who stayed in the farm buildings during WWII. The cabin stands as a tribute to their efforts.

Wow, wow, wow — there are no words to describe this little piece of heaven. Catrin was the best host we’ve ever had. Her attention to detail is incredible and she went above and beyond to make my wife’s birthday weekend truly special and memorable. From a birthday bandana to a lovely local honey pot, every little touch was so thoughtful.
She even left a personalised chew and note for our dog, along with a birthday card for my wife — we were absolutely speechless. The thought and care behind it all meant so much to us.
The location is perfect — close enough to amenities yet wonderfully rural so you can really escape the hustle and bustle. The views are absolutely stunning. Sitting outside at night with a glass of wine, overlooking the fields and the valley — just wow. So peaceful, with the sounds of birds and a nearby stream — pure bliss.
Look no further — you’ll have the best time here, with genuine, caring hospitality in a truly stunning location. Thank you Catrin.
