The Woodcutters's cabin offers an unparalleled retreat, a unique rustic cabin where ancient woods meet modern comfort. Perched by the serene Cwmere stream it provides peace and relaxation. Nestled near the Cambrian Mountains & Snowdonia National Park,a true location for hiking, cycling, fishing, bird watching, off-roading, horse riding & photography. Close to beaches (10 mins drive) trails & historic towns. Crafted timber, it humbly echoes its surroundings. Here, nature doesn’t compete, it welcomes you.
By night, enjoy the beauty of the unspoilt skies, stargazing under a canopy of stars a unique find. Inside, a cozy double bed, sofa bed, en-suite electric shower, smart TV, WIFI, wall radiator, Hungry Chilli Penguin wood-burner with oven, a fully equipped kitchen including a Montpellier fridge freezer.
Outside, the stunning sunsets can be enjoyed from the decked area where two large rustic style American Adirondack rocking chairs are positioned. An alternative attraction could be the bespoke fire pit which also has a barbecue attachment. Enjoy a truly peaceful and reclusive environment.
On arrival, you will be provided with a 'Welcome Pack' with basic essentials.
Just a short distance away, the village offers an authentic taste of Welsh community life. At its heart sits a welcoming pub where local characters gather, serving hearty traditional food. Talybont also has a shop, garage, pharmacy, bookshop, hairdresser - everything you want for a comfortable stay.

Catrine's place was fantastic. The cabin itself is very clean and tidy in a quiet, pleasant location with plenty of seating outdoors for relaxing on warm summer nights. We were looking for a place to relax for a few days after an eventful few months and this place didn't disappoint.
Catrin kept us informed and made sure our stay was perfect, a great host. Would stay again.

If you’re looking for a getaway, this cabin is the perfect place to do so. It’s exactly as shown in the pictures, very cozy and comfortable. It’s situated 20 minutes from the seafront and about an hour drive to Snowdonia.
Catrin, our host was very friendly and answered all our questions fast. She even left a basket with all the essentials that we might need.
